The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is said to be the redeeming factor of the Note line after the battery explosion and overheating issues of the Note 7. Many are hoping that the upcoming device will make up for the shortcomings of its predecessor.

In an earlier interview with CNet, Samsung mobile head D.J. Koh confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is coming. "I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8," he said.
The executive also added that one of the major reasons that they are continuing with the Note series is that a lot of Samsung users are already "loyal" customers of this line. The phablet has indeed been one of the positively reviewed devices of Apple until the Note 7 problems.

An improved and safe battery is definitely the first thing that users will look for in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Mic noted the company has already revealed the factors that led to the battery issues of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as well as the battery check and verification that the company will do with the Note 8.

Also, it is anticipated that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature one of the highlights of the Note 7 which is the iris scanner. An improved S Pen stylus that could be dust and water-resistant could also be underway.
