Apparently, 2017 could possibly the year of the tablet's return as many manufacturers will reportedly launch high-powered tablets and one of them Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Though there is a decline regarding the popularity of tabs, the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 has definitely generated a lot of buzz considering there have been additional leaks regarding its specs from GFXBench.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to sport a 9.7-inch QXGA (2048×1536) display which is similar to iPad's Retina display. More so, the said device will apparently be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and will have a 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will apparently have an Adreno 530 GPU, which the report claims that even though the processor is a bit old, it still pretty powerful. With regard to its optics, it will reportedly sport a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera.
The primary camera will apparently come with features like touch focus, autofocus, HDR, face detection and flash. The Tab S3 will reportedly have an Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed, according to Android Community.
Reportedly, all the attention may be with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's release, considering that Samsung has already confirmed that the expected Galaxy S8 flagship will not be released at the MWC 2017. Meanwhile, latest reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update soon.
Note that the tab was spotted running on the Nougat OS in GFXBench last December 2016, which is available in two variants which are in 8 inches and 9.7 inches. The Galaxy Tab S2 came with Android 5.0 Lollipop when it was first launched in 2015.
As per Tech Times, The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has now been spotted on the organization that certifies Wi-Fi products and Wi-Fi Alliance. It has certified some variants running on Android 7.0 Nougat including devices with model numbers SM-T815 and SM-T817 (international versions of Galaxy Tab S2 9.7).
