The past week has been quite eventful for the fans and lovers awaiting the release of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8. Thursday and Friday, i.e. January 26 and 27 were the days when a live image of the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphone was released on the internet. Not just that, the full list of the Samsung Galaxy S8 specs were also leaked (released) which included screen resolution even better than the purported one of the LG G6. However, an image has started making rounds of the internet now and is believed to be an official press render of the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The image can be viewed on the site GSMArena. If we are to compare these rendered images, believed to be press renders, with the live image that was seen on January 26, the images line up quite well with each other. The co-incidence is certainly not accidental. The propertion of the camera segment near the fingerprint scanner and sensor on the back side of the phone are absolutely same in both these different media.
However, the problem area lies in the front side of the recently circulated render. If we compare the front side render with the "supposed" glass panel for the front side of Samsung Galaxy S8, we notice that these are not consistent with each other. This could only mean two things: either the render is fake or the alleged front facing glass panel is. No confirmed news or reports are actually present about the press render images about its legitimacy. We hope that more information is released about the appearance of the phone.
Currently the global reveal event is pegged to be on March 29. We also expect the Samsung Galaxy S8 to be officially sold in the market on April 21. What are your views on the leaked images and renders? For more news and updates about the Samsung Galaxy S8, keep browsing MobileNApps!
