The former manager of Formula 1 racer Michael Schumacher has recently reacted on the family's decision to remain mum about the condition of the F1 legend. He claimed that the family has not been telling the public what the truth is.
Not telling the truth
Daily Mail said that German racing drivers manager Willi Weber has hit the Schumacher family for not disclosing the real medical condition of the racer. "For some time now, I've been saying that the Schumacher family is not telling the whole truth," Willi Weber was quoted as saying.
He, however, claimed that whatever he says will not be heard by the family noting that his advice is not anymore needed. This is despite Weber being the mentor of Schumacher for 10 years of his racing career.
Still positive about recovery
Even though there is little known about Schumacher's condition, the manager said that he is still positive that the racer will recover even years after the ski accident in the French Alps in December 2013.
Fellow Formula1 champion Sebastian Vettel also remembered his idol and former racing partner. Daily Star said Vettel is thankful for Schumacher for guiding him and teaching him a lot about racing. "We wish him still all the best, even though it has been a couple of years," he added.
Photo of Schumacher leaked
With his condition remaining a mystery for many, a "ghoulish photo" earlier leaked to the press and was said to be sold for about £1 million. The investigation on how the photograph was smuggled out of Schumacher's Swiss home is still being conducted.
It has been more than three years since Schumacher's ski accident where he sustained serious head injuries. He was placed in an induced coma but luckily woke up from this. He has been recovering in his Swiss home along the banks of Lake Geneva under the care of his family and a number of doctors.
