The family of Formula One racer Michael Schumacher were enraged after the first photo of the personality on his bed were sold to the media for a whopping £1.2 million. This has been clearly a breach of the security and news blackout that the family wanted to protect their privacy.

Leaked picture

In the leaked photo, Schumacher was reportedly seen lying on his bed inside his Geneva home on the "ghoulish" photo which the still unidentified photographer and seller has offered to the media for the past days. It came as a shock to everyone since the Schumacher family has been extremely private on the condition of the racer.

The family has already sued Bunte, a German magazine who claimed in 2015 that Schumacher has been able to take some steps after he woke up from coma and started his recovery. Lawyer Felix Damm said the report was false claiming that Schumacher is not able to stand even if assisted.

Not a public subject

Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, has reiterated that the condition of the Formula One racer is not public and will not be discussed to the media. " We are aware that this is difficult to understand for some people, but we are in perfect agreement with Michael's attitude and can only say thanks for the understanding," he added.

Ski accident and road to recovery

Michael Schumacher sustained serious brain injuries after he figured in a ski accident on the French Alps almost three years ago. He was induced into a coma, woke up from his state then taken to his Swiss home in 2014 where he has been recovering since then.

Charges for the person responsible for the leak and sale for the photos were initially planned but now it seems that the suspect will not be facing any liability. Media persons who were offered the photo also refused not to name their source.
