Many fans have been so eager to see Jon Snow, the Mother of Dragons, or Cersei Lannister again on screen as "Game of Thrones" season 7 is reportedly coming in June, which is few months delayed from its usual April premiere date. Producers have previously said that they have to push it back as the filming started later to reflect the weather as winter has come to Westeros.
According to the website Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB), "Game of Thrones" season 7 will premiere on June 25 that puts closure to the fans who have been speculating the show's release date. However, IMDB removed its post regarding the premiere date from its website leaving fans to wonder why it was taken down.
IMDB though, is a user-driven website just like Wikipedia where changes can be altered or corrected and HBO has not released any official announcement yet on "Game of Thrones" season 7 premiere date. According to the Daily Telegraph, the June 25 premiere date would be possible as it's going to be in the northern hemisphere summer since there will only be about six episodes, each has bigger in scale and budget than ever, which means that filming will also take a huge amount of time.
"Game of Thrones" season 7 episodes would be longer than usual, which is expected to be an hour long. According to a report, Bastille is also expected to make a cameo in one of the upcoming episodes of the show following the footsteps of Coldplay, Mastodon and Sigur Ros.
Phenomenal "A Song of Ice and Fire" author George RR Martin posted on his blog that he is attending the 2017 WorldCon in Helsinki, Finland in August. "And yes, come to worldcon if you can. The best place to meet and hang with your favorite writers. Including me..." he wrote.
Stay tuned for more information on "Game of Thrones" season 7 official release date. You know nothing, Jon Snow!
