“Star Wars Battlefront” gamers might have been worried about the status of the game. Multiple news sources have previously reported that it will be forgotten as soon as the sequel is launched.

Just last December, a “Star Wars Battlefront” DLC was released. The “Scarif” expansion pack allowed players to explore the beach planet that was featured in the movie, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

Since its release, however, gamers have taken to the Internet to complain about glitches, such as non-working upgrades and heroes becoming invincible. The “Star Wars Battlefront” fan base is expecting DICE to work on the bugs, which, in turn, is in contrast to the information stated by justpushstart.com.

According to the publication, “Star Wars Battlefront” makers will no longer launch a DLC for the game, primarily because its sequel, “Star Wars Battlefront 2” is coming out later this year. Although this remains unconfirmed to date, it does not necessarily mean that EA and DICE are not going to do anything about the glitches.

EA officials have already responded to complaints on the “Battlefront” forums. Apparently, there is “a patch coming soon.” “It is currently being fully QA’d before being sent over to our platform partners for further verification,” they wrote.

“Rumors of servers going offline are 100 percent false,” wrote EA’s community manager. “The ‘Star Wars Battlefront’ servers will be going strong for time to come.” With regard to the update, EA will be posting “those details as the patch is made available” just like they usually do.

Meanwhile, Motoringcrunch has reported that the sequel to “Star Wars Battlefront” will not be featured at the E3 2017. According to the report, EA has plans of having its own event to introduce their soon-to-be-released games.
