Talks about Lady Gaga releasing a new album later in 2017, in what would be her second record release in 12 months, circulated like wildfire. Gaga, who released "Joanne" in October 2016, recently returned to the recording studio to work on new music. Now, Forbes reports that a full-length album is slated for October. However, these reports have not been confirmed by the singer's camp as of this writing.
A Different Lady Gaga With "Joanne"
Lady Gaga's fifth and latest album, soft-rock "Joanne" is probably her best in years. With "Joanne," Gaga starts over with music that feels toned-down, controlled, reserved and other adjectives that one wouldn't usually associate with her. It's an old-school Nineties soft-rock album, heavy on the acoustic guitar, writes Rollingstone.
Gaga Prepares For Her "Ambitions" For The Show
Lady Gaga was recently confirmed to be the halftime performer for the 2017 Super Bowl in Houston, Texas on February 5. Popularly known for her eccentricities, she reveals she wanted to sing "on the roof" of the Super Bowl. Pepsi, who is sponsoring the halftime show, released a teaser video of the pop superstar as she prepares for her performance.
"Gagaloo" has been exercising "everyday, all day" to make certain she is at the peak of her fitness when she belts out songs in the course of the half-time show. "It will be special because I've been planning this since I was 4, so I know exactly what I'm going to do," Gaga said in the preview. Choreographer Richy Jackson, who have worked with Gaga for at least ten years, said it is obviously a humongous platform, "probably the greatest 12 minutes of our lives," writes MSN Entertainment.
Lady Gaga showed her versatility when she starred on "American Horror Story: Hotel." She won a Golden Globe for the role in 2016. In the same year, Gaga ended her engagement to "Chicago Fire" actor Taylor Kinney.
