"Stranger Things" Season 2 dropped a lot of hints when it was revealed with all the titles included in a clip. According to reports, however, the new season will be focusing more on laying groundwork for the third season and will not be self-contained as the first installment.

"Stranger Things" Season 2, as suspected, wlll possibly return to the Hawkins National Laboratory where there will be what seems like an Indiana Jones type of setting or a Temple of Doom scenario. Still, the second season may be prone to disappointment from avid fans of the show. There is no certainty on what the show will offer but new characters such as Sean Astin and Paul Reiser are to be expected.

Cryptic hints are also expected in the second season with David Harbour playing Sheriff Jim Hopper saying that the new season happens a year after so a lot of information disparities can be seen and will be a tremendous part of the series' plot. There will be a lot of things that happened in the previous year that can affect the season such as Will's return. Several people in the town knew what happened but there are still some who don't and this great disconnect will definitely be a bomber to watch.

Rather than what they did in the first season, "Stranger Things" Season 2 will have a greater scope, with possibly darker plots. The risks and threats have grown and the writers have been very loyal to the kind of storytelling required for the series. EP Shawn Levy also appreciates the bigger cast and the establishment of such cryptic plot makes it interesting.

Aside from just a monster, the Demogorgon, fans have to be aware that this season, a slug infestation is about to happen. The said scenario will mimic "Slither" or "Night of the Creeps." Lastly, it seems that more harm will be packed in the "Upside Down" aside from the horny beast. But everything at this point is speculations basing from hints, everything will unfold as "Stranger Things" gets released later this year.
