Weatherly said that it would be interesting to see his role in "NCIS" meet his character in "Bull." The actor also explored a possible scenario for DiNozzo and Jason Bull's first meeting and how they would notice their similarities.
While some fans are excited to see this potential crossover between "NCIS" and "Bull," Weatherly said that it would be best if this happened when the latter is on its fourth season. This may help the show establish itself and keep Weatherly free from being associated with DiNozzo again.
As most fans can recall, Weatherly announced his exit from "NCIS" in Season 13. His character was not killed off and Tony decided to leave the team to take care of his and Ziva's daughter, which opens the door for the actor's return in the future.
