Attention Netflix's "House of Cards" fans - Frank and Claire Underwood are back and it appears that they are darker than ever in a new teaser trailer video recently released. In the trailer, Frank who is played by actor Kevin Spacey delivers a chilling message promising loads of terror and distress.

"House of Cards," the acclaimed American political drama based on the UK miniseries of the same name returns on May 30 and the date was revealed during the Pledge of Allegiance when Frank and Claire are both watching the execution of a man held hostage by a terrorist. "That's right. We don't submit to terror. We make the terror," Frank said in the gruesome teaser trailer.

In the teaser trailer, Claire Underwood, played by actress Robin Wright and his husband Frank are certainly up to no good and these two only rose to power through demoralizing many of their political friends as well as their allies in Washington, DC. On Twitter, @HouseofCards account shared a photo showcasing the children reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while the camera pulls back from an upside-down American flag - the official sign of terror.

Claire has been always at Frank's side despite the challenges they have had in their marriage and this is mostly because she is cold-blooded and hungry of power just as her husband. According to reports, "House of Cards" original creator and writer Beau Willimon is not coming back for season 5, which he said that it was time for him to ‘move on from the drama' and the series would be better off from other writers' new ideas.

"House of Cards" season 5 will likely focus on the couple's political greed when Frank announced that Claire would be his running mate in the coming election. According to the Verge, its May 30 release is a few months behind the series' usual release schedule where its first three seasons all premiered in February and season four debuted in March.
