Blizzard's "Diablo 3" has been up for a while now. Since then, millions of gamers have created some of the best and unique builds in each of the game's classes.

Popularly, the monk class is one of the most used and sought after characters in "Diablo's 3rd" installment. The Monk has one of the best set of skills for CQB combat. Nonetheless, it's one of the most bad ass characters in Blizzard's long-running hack and slash RPG.

In a post from Icy-Veins, one of the most popular Monk builds is Uliana's Strategem set. It puts the Monk's Seven-Sided Strike into the spotlight. The build ultimately puts the Monk's AoE-centric playstyle into good perspective. Also, users can enjoy the build in solo progression and speed-farming variations.

Uliana's Strategem set was pieced together by Deadset. A popular "Diablo 3" build wizard that's both a professional player and an avid YouTuber. The Strategem set is quite long and tedious and I'm going to summarize it the best that I can. The comprehensive build is available on YouTube and the earlier mentioned website.

The first thing that is needed for this build is a complete Uliana's set. In successive order, you'll need the following items for the character: Uliana's Spirit, Heart, Fury, Destiny, Burden, and Strength. The items are in successive order for the helm, chest, gloves, boots, pants and shoulders. You can use The Traveler's Pledge for the amulet and The Compass Rose for the character's ring.

For the wrist slot, you can use the Gungdo gear. For the waist, it could either be the Binding of the Lost which is good for slots and the Goldwrap. As for the weapons of choice, it's highly recommended to have The Fist of Az'Turrasq and Lion's Claw.

For solo progression, you'll have to have the Way of the Hundred Fists with Assimilation. Epiphany level 1 with Desert shroud and a level 3 Seven Sided Strike that has Sustained Attack. It's preferable to assign the skills in the left mouse button.

For the right mouse button, it's preferred that you have the Exploding Palm with Impending doom. A level 2 Dashing strike with Blinding Speed and a level 4 Cyclone Strike with Implosion. The passive skills are Harmony, Beacon of Ytar, Mythic Rhythm and Near Death Experience.

For speedruns opt to have Blazing Fist perk with the Way of the Hundred Fists. Also, have the Way of the Falling Star for the level 2 Dashing Strike. Furthermore, have the level 4 Mantra of Conviction skill that has Annihilation. For the other details, you can check out Deadshot's Youtube page.
