The new "Micro Machines World Series" will be launched this coming April, and will be available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It is a series of video and computer games featuring toy cars in a fast phase race, developed by Codemasters.
The game was first released way back in 1991. "Micro Machine World Series" will be counted as the first sequel game in its gaming franchise since "Micro Machines 4" which was released in 2006 on the PS2, PSP, DS and PC.
The game has 8 installments from "Micro Machines" up to the latest "Micro Maniacs" which was released last July 14, 2016. It has its own unique race track themes that can't be seen in any regular racing games, with some races taking place in a billiard table, gardens, kitchen, and computer desktops.
This April's "Micro Machines World Series" is updated with HD graphics and new modes of play, as reported by Gamespot. The updated game lets four players split a gaming screen and 12 players in an online multiplayer mode. It is made with classic Race and Elimination modes along with its newest Battle Mode in which the mission of each player is to destroy their competitors.
PCgamer also reported that another highlight feature of the game is the team-based game modes including King of the Hill and Capture the Flag. Each of the updated 12 vehicles has its own unique load-out of abilities and weapons; the game will launch with an extreme range of customization options.
"The first Micro Machines built a huge progress in terms of multiplayer racing game, and remains much loved in the gaming community up until now," Codemasters Vice President Jonathan Bunney shared. The game will surely bring fun experience to PCs and consoles, offering a breath of fresh air from the more serious multiplayer alternatives.
