This weekend is going to be a great treat as developer Rare sent out invites for the alpha test of Xbox One exclusive title "Sea of Thieves." Players who were not able to grab the technical alpha of "Sea of Thieves" still have a chance to hitch a ride on this event.
Keep an eye on that mailbox and keep your fingers crossed that "Sea of Thieves" is going to notice you this time around. But, first, there is a bit of a workaround to have a chance at joining. Players need to register first for the Insider Program on "Sea of Thieves."
There are other requisites to get an inside look at "Sea of thieves," including an Xbox Live account. Players should at least be 18 years or older. Those who will climb aboard the "Sea of Thieves" alpha test will have a chance to be considered for exclusive early access of the game, as well.
Remember that those who will join this test are also encouraged to provide their technical views about "Sea of Thieves." Meaning, lucky players can shape the future of the game by giving their technical perspective on limited aspects, DualShockers reported.
"Sea of Thieves" offers a pirate-niche gameplay where players have to brave the high seas filled with unknown dangers and looting escapades. The game offers both solo and coop gameplay. The latter presents the opportunity for players to band together and embark on quests for legendary artifacts and hidden treasures.
What is interesting about "Sea of Thieves" coop gameplay is the option to choose the roles based on player character. There are certain goals, as well, and politics comes aplenty because players need to deal with other crewmembers.
Two versions of "Sea of Thieves" are currently available for digital pre-orders, including an Xbox One and Window 10 version. "Sea of Thieves" is also inter-playable through both platforms and players can pick up their saved games via Xbox Play Anywhere.
