"Sea of Thieves," developed by Rare could very well become the best game ever by the developer, Microsoft has stated. It will be developed for Xbox One and PC and has a 2017 release date. The launch date has not been finalized and even if it has been, Rare has not revealed it yet. However, fans believe that Microsoft Studios may unveil the game during the company's E3 2017 briefing, scheduled to be held on June 11, Sunday. "Sea of Thieves" is an Xbox Play Anywhere game.

This means, players who purchase the game digitally for Xbox One, will get the PC version for free and vice versa. Game Spot states that saves and achievements move between the systems. Recently developer Rare posted a video for its upcoming highly-anticipated pirate game "Sea of Thieves." It showcases the game's latest Alpha 0.1.1 update for Xbox One and PC. Players involved in the game's technical testing period are lucky enough to try it out. As per the video, the world of "Sea of Thieves" is now a dangerous one and also larger.

Now, players will have more island to explore and new tougher challenges to take on. This includes stealing gold from other players. Another big inclusion is that of Fall Damage. Previously, players could simply jump off high places without thinking of damage. That will not be the case anymore. To make gameplay of "Sea of Thieves" more interesting, Rare is reportedly adding skeletal pirates that players need to take down with their groups of swagger heroes. Players can still sign up for the "Sea of Thieves" technical alpha test, though, there is no guarantee that they will be accepted.

Rare's open-world adventure game, "Sea of Thieves" has impressed a lot of hardcore gamers since it was revealed in 2015. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more details on the game.
