One of the greatest FPS games for PC of all time has been the Counter Strike series. And, there would hardly be a gamer who did not try out the legendary Steam-version of the series, "Counter Strike 1.6." The game gave us something more than a tactical FPS scenario. But now, there are so many new and improved versions out, "CS 1.6" is losing its popularity on the web. This is where mods play an important role in PC games. Now, players can use the newest mod called "Classic Offensive" in their "CS: GO" to relive those old memories, but with better graphics and some new elements.

"Counter Strike 1.6" via Steam was a huge success. This gave the nostalgic modders an idea to create that classic FPS version which ruled the world a decade ago. So, the ones who look forward to try it out can do that through the newly released "CS:GO" mod called "Classic Offensive."

As featured on Steam Greenlight, the "CS: Classic Offensive" mod mimics the same-old experience as seen in the "Counter Strike 1.6." Modders hope that the experience will reunite new gamers with the old ones in this classic layout.

To avoid the chances of a VAC Ban, the modders said that they could not, however, copy the exact details of the "Counter Strike 1.6" version. The more complex parts of the 1.6 version in "CS: GO" are missed out, but that will not hinder with the excitement and the experience players had with the original version. Choosing from a number of classic map designs with a simpler artistic design and the classic "CS 1.6" guns will make it enjoyable to play.

Players are about to feel nostalgic after checking out this newest "CS: GO" mod which replicates the classic "Counter Strike 1.6."
