Nintendo Switch seems to get everything right, at least so far. The hybrid game console from Nintendo has been getting positive reviews so far and a lot of pundits believe that Nintendo took notes of all the mistakes pointed out against its Wii U and corrected everything with the Nintendo Switch.

The big improvement that Nintendo Switch features is that the Switch is a true portable game console. All the things that the game console needs to run are all packed in the tablet part of the Switch, hence, users can actually play video games with the tablet wherever they may be. Also, all of the games that are already confirmed that are coming to Nintendo Switch can be played with the tablet alone.

Though there are still rooms for improvement, the Nintendo Switch is still a far better video game console compared to its predecessor, the Wii U. With the Wii U, game developers had to make a choice if they would want their games to be compatible with the tablet component or the actual console and most game developers opted to take the console route. With the Switch, no such choices should be made as games can be ported to its tablet component without any issue or tradeoff.

The only issue for the Switch so far is its price. The Nintendo Switch price is pegged at $299.99. With just a few tens of dollars away from the Sony Ps4, video game players may opt to buy the more powerful Ps4 than the Switch. It is up to Nintendo to actually convince the video game community that its new hybrid game console is actually worth the asking price.

The Nintendo Switch hit the shelves on March 3. Preorders for the game console has already started with Nintendo NY announcing that they will accept preorders starting 9 am January 13.
