Like the Apple iPhone 8, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is another highly-anticipated smartphone, especially after the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge became major hits. More and more leaks are surfacing online and it seems that the handset still has a few more months before it is released. Recent leaks have suggested that the Galaxy S8 will have a very sleek design. One of the leaked images, reportedly a prototype, show a bezel-free design, 4K display and a fingerprint scanner built into the display.
According to Sam Mobile that has reported the latest leaks states that the leaked images are contradictory in nature as one shows a 3.5mm headphone jack and the other doesn't. It is difficult to imagine what the actual Samsung Galaxy S8 device will look like from the leaked case renders. There is a repositioned heart rate sensor and a thinner chin bearing the Samsung logo. However, it is far from confirmed whether the next Samsung flagship will really look the ones shown in the leaked images.
The recent leaks also do not show any power/sleep button on the right side. It could have been moved to the left along with the volume buttons. It is also rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S8 handset will have a Samsung Bixby AI button. Another Galaxy S8 leak on Chinese website Weibo a golden Samsung handset with the top and bottom bezels having varying sizes. The handset shows 90 percent screen, sleek design and no physical buttons, reports Gotta Be Mobile.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 may have a 5.7-inch display while the Galaxy S8 Edge a 6.2-inch display. The latest leak also does not show an Infrared Iris Eye scanner. This is quite a shocker as this feature is considered almost certain as it debuted in the Galaxy Note 7 device. The image also shows a 3.5mm headphone though earlier reports had suggested that Samsung will also go wireless like Apple. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more updates on Samsung Galaxy S8 handset.
