The "Hyperdimension Neptunia" video game franchise has recently released the opening movie for another one of its spin-off titles. The "Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru" video also featured appearances from characters from five different Compile Heart titles.
Gematsu has revealed that Compile Heart finally uploaded the opening movie for its latest game "Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru." The opening movie features the opening theme "Chaos and Creation," which was sung by Niji no Conquistador ("Rainbow Spectrum," "Rainbow Eclipse.")
"Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru" is a free-to-play title that will be released for the PS Vita in Japan sometime in 2017. Details about the game's story are kept under tight wraps, but it will allegedly focus on "the gate to the World of Chaos being opened."
Characters for the upcoming title include Yurina, who is a new character that will debut in the upcoming game. Neptune, voiced by Rie Tanaka, is a main character from the "Hyperdimension Neptunia" series.
Tiara, voiced by Kaori Ishihara, is a main character from the "Fairy Fencer F series." Faust, voiced by Yoko Hikasa, is the main character from "Trillion: God of Destruction." Otoha, voiced by Riho Iida, is the main character from "Omega Quintet." Luanna, voiced by Reina Ueda, is the main character from "Genkai Tokki Moero Crystal."
According to a separate Gematsu report, the plot of "Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru" revolves around Yurina who begins a journey to collect the Golden Fragments "which are scattered across the land" to "save the world from the threat of the Chaos Energy." During her travels, Yurina will come across Neptune, who "after a misunderstanding from an unfortunate first encounter, challenges Yurina to battle."
The synopsis continues, "But during the battle against Neptune, the Golden Fragment held by Yurina suddenly begins to glow. Now, the fate of chaos is met with a major jolt. Goddesses, fairies, monster girls, verse maidens, denizens of the underworld - while there is a variety of life all over, the peace in the world is preserved and the days of tranquility pass."
