"Stranger Things" Season 2 rumors and spoilers have been circulating after its second season was announced by Netflix and the Duffer brothers did an excellent job hiding everything from the fans. However, a lot of the fans are worried that the show will be having a sloppy second season as it was revealed that the series may be heading to a different direction from what their fans have grown to love.

With Netflix trend of having lesser episodes for their series, which seems to be looking good for "Stranger Things." It fared well than the longer seasons of popular Netflix shows such as "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil."

"Stranger Things" Season 2 Trailer debuted last August and it seems like it will be a staple program to watch out for in Netflix, aside from "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones" - both of which can actually do great with eight-episode runs, as well. Upon the trailer release last August, the name of the episodes were also listed, revealing that the next season will have two additional episodes making it a ten-episode run for Season 2.

The first season of "Stranger Things" was met with a lot of cold treatment in its first few episodes but became very popular towards the middle and the end of the show. The cast was phenomenal and new characters will be known in Season 2. Sean Astin and Paul Resier can be expected for the second season. Aside from these two, Sadie Sink will be playing as Max, a touch suspicious girl while Dacre Montgomery will play as Billy, an overly-confident older stepbrother of Max. Other additions were Linnea Berthelson and Mr. Gelman Joe Kerny and Noah Schnapp will reprise their roles as Steve Harrington and Will Byers.

Fans are concerned that the focus will be directed to these new characters, but are still hopeful the next season will still be all about the younger cast so as not to veer away from the original premise of the show. According to Netflix, the second season is bigger and darker and the threat for the main characters have grown. Expect a bigger cast without compromising magical storytelling which was established in Season 1.
