Some customers who have pre-ordered Google's new Nexus 7 tablet have started getting anxious and complaining that Google has failed to notify them about expected shipping times. The Asus-built Google tablet kicked off to a very impressive start, but face difficulties in meeting the high demand. In response to such restlessness and complaints, Google has now updated its support page to let customers know when they can expect to get their tablet.

"We've had incredible demand for our new Nexus 7 tablet and are shipping them as quickly as possible," explained the search giant. "When your device ships you will receive a notification from Google Play with a shipping tracking number. We will have all orders placed through July 13 processed and shipped soon. Orders placed after July 13 will ship according to the quoted timeframe when you purchased and we will update you with a tracking number when we've shipped. Thanks for your patience."

Moreover, the company also offered complimentary upgrades to overnight shipping (free of charge) and sent emails to customers in the UK who pre-ordered the Nexus 7 after the tablet's launch at Google I/O last month, and confirmed the shipping schedule for the 8GB and 16GB versions. "We wanted to send you an update on your Nexus 7 pre-order. We've had incredible demand for the new tablet and are shipping them as quickly as possible," reads Google's email to UK Nexus 7 pre-order customers. "All Nexus 7 8GB orders will ship by July 20, and Nexus 7 16GB orders will ship by next week. We've upgraded your shipping to overnight so your order will arrive sooner."

According to the company's updated support page, all "standalone" 8GB Nexus 7 orders in the U.S. have been shipped. "Standalone" orders means they do not include a case, charger, or Nexus Q. Also, all standalone 16GB Nexus 7 orders placed through July 11 will have been shipped by the end of the day on July 19. Meanwhile the remaining orders of the 16GB Nexus 7 will be shipped by the end of next week, also with complimentary overnight shipping upgrades.

In Canada, all 8GB Nexus 7 orders have been shipped, while the 16GB models will be shipped within one-two weeks. Lastly, orders in Australia for both models will be completed by the end of the day on July 19, and should arrive within 3-5 days.
