"Horizon Zero Dawn" is one of the most anticipated games this first quarter of 2017. The excitement heightens as Sony recently revealed an impressive trailer of the PlayStation 4 version of the game. The preview gave out important details about the protagonist and storyline, and everything looks great so far.

Moreover, the official trailer of "Horizon Zero Dawn" presented the setting, enemies and other characters in the newest post-apocalyptic game developed by Guerilla Games. As can be seen in the trailer, the tribal culture has been mixed with high technology and this makes the game very interesting.

Storyline

The clip started with the protagonist named Aloy, wandering through a snowstorm. She saw dead bodies on the ground and she asked who could have done such horrifying deed to her tribe.

She wanted to find the killers and to do so, she needs to leave the "Sacred Land" and travel to Meridian. As she embarks on her journey, viewers were able to see more of the surroundings which is actually a barren wilderness that have rusted towers everywhere.

Later, Aloy bumped into huge robotic dinosaur-like creatures and something seems to be going on in the area. She found the villain and on close inspection, the foe and his troop are excavating powerful machines from a long time ago. The machines are used to wreak havoc and take control of friendly robots.

Characters

Aside from the members of her tribe, other allies and foes that Aloy will confront in the game have been revealed. In the preview of "Horizon Zero Dawn," masked men were shown attacking, for sure, they are the bad guys but the group's identity was not revealed.

For characters who are on Aloy's side, there is one man who appears to be helping her and her tribe. This ally was not exactly identified as well but he showed himself in blue hologram. As GearNuke stated, this man is being voiced by actor Lance Reddick.
