"Grand Theft Auto 6" is one of the most highly anticipated game sequels since the release of "GTA 5" in 2013. While Rockstar Games, the company behind the popular game franchise, is currently working on a different game as of writing, rumors are rife that the sequel's location may feature a combination of the cities from the previous games. What else is known about "GTA 6?"

The production for "Grand Theft Auto 6" is expected to begin soon, as Rockstar Games will soon be wrapping up its release of "Red Dead Redemption 2." According to PC Advisor, it makes sense for the company to begin working on the "GTA 5" sequel since the developer released the predecessor in 2013.

The location for "GTA 6" continues to remain a mystery among fans and many are looking forward to the game's location next. There are rumors that the new location will be a combination of the different cities from the previous games, especially since the developer's head, Leslie Benzies, previously shared that they are aiming to achieve this in the succeeding games.

This means that "Grand Theft Auto 6" may allow users to fly between San Andreas and Liberty City. It is also believed that the upcoming sequel will feature a female protagonist, as part of the developer's attempt to make up for the criticism surrounding its depiction of female characters.

NSEA Voice also reports that there are rumors that "Grand Theft Auto 6" may be played in virtual reality (VR). According to the publication, since the sequel is expected to take on a bigger map with a more extensive way of traveling, the game can greatly benefit from the VR technology.

"GTA 5" has also seen the addition of the first-person POV so many users are expecting to see this option included in "GTA 6." Shifting the POV would also make it easier to play the game in virtual reality.
