LG Signature W7 OLED TV, the latest flagship technology from the South Korean electronics company, impressed participants at CES 2017 with its slim and flexible 65-inch screen. Embedded with a unique magnetic system, users can actually mount the TV like a wallpaper.

The new LG TV is only 2.57 millimeter thick but it is capable of delivering 4K picture quality. With a display weight of 16.8 lbs, users can easily mount and peel the TV from the wall with minimal effort. Its nifty design is impressive but given its promising specs, LG W7 will not come cheap.

LG's wallpaper TV has a price tag of $7999.99. It is currently available for pre-order but shipping is expected to start later this year according to Venture Beat. Users can check more specs of LG W7 in the official LG page.

The Seoul-based company is also said to release another version of the LG TV that will come with a 77-inch screen, which is slated to arrive this year as well. The second version, however, may be more expensive as it is suggested to have a thicker sound bar. Compared to current OLED TV screens from other brands, the 77-inch LG wallpaper TV sports an improved and better brightness of up to 25 percent, reportedly.

It is important to note, however, that while LG W7 has one of the coolest design, CE Pro warned that it has a ribbon cable that is not in-wall rated. The ribbon cable gives power to the TV and installing it properly is important to ensure safety. Though the power cord is wrapped in a fire-proof coating, users are recommended to employ the help of professional installers in mounting the TV for the first time.
