In the "Orange is the New Black" season 4 finale, fans saw Lolly killing the assassin who was sent to kill Alex. Both Alex and Lolly then tried covering the crime by disposing of the body but then entire incident had left an impact on Lolly.
Lolly had started talking to herself due to the trauma and guilt. Soon, the correctional officers found out that the mumbling was related to a real-life murder and she was shipped off to the psych ward. The latest "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 predictions and spoilers suggest that Lolly will be back in the main storyline. She may not be seen in the first few episodes, but she will eventually return to the main storyline.
Last season ended with the death of a beloved character Poussey. It is nothing new as she has shown suicidal tendencies in the past and Poussey's death could be a trigger. She will conclude that there is nothing for her to continue living forcing her to take the final step.
Some spoilers suggest that another major character would meet its end in the upcoming season 5 of "Orange is the New Black." Lead character Piper could lose her life to a Prison scuffle. No confirmation was available on this rumour and actual circumstances including the cause of her possible death remain unknown.
It is worth noting that Netflix has confirmed creator Jenji Kohan for next three seasons. The "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 premiere date has not been confirmed yet but considering all the past premiere date, any Friday of June 2017 could be the premiere date.
