"NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 Episode 11 will be back to TVs soon, and fans can expect more storylines that involve the Cartel. This is part of the repercussions of the failed mission involving Eliza West, played by Amanda Clayton.

Executive producer Brad Kern has revealed that, when "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 returns, it will be divided into two parts. Kern has reassured fans that they can expect the Cartel problem to be resolved by the time the series ends its third season. Still, there are "deeper wounds" involving city corruption that will be addressed in the upcoming episodes.

Once the Cartel storyline has ended, the focus of the series will be shifted to its second half, "which is going to deal with, obviously, the Navy, Marines, and jurisdictional aspects that affect NCIS," Kern told TV Guide. Mayor Douglas Hamilton was not mentioned, but his behavior on "NCIS: New Orleans" certainly does not portray him to be a non-corrupt official.

Kern also finally put to rest speculations that Agent Brody, played by Zoe McLellan, is coming back to the show. He said that there are absolutely no plans for the aforementioned character to return.

With regard to the budding romance between Percy and LaSalle, Kern has assured that the prognosis of their relationship is good. Now that LaSalle has proven to Percy that he is a good father, the tension between them will eventually thin out. “We wanted to do an arc so you could see how he is growing and becoming more responsible,” Kern said. “The best way to say is, ‘Stay tuned.’”

Kern also revealed a few things about the development of Sebastian's character when "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 returns to TVs. He has shown everyone that he can work efficiently in the lab and can also catch the villains. "There's special agent and forensic agent," Kern added. "He will be working in the lab but taking those skills to the field."
