At the recent CES 2017 held in Las Vegas, United States, ZTE has launched ZTE Blade V8 and ZTE Blade V8 Pro. But how does one differ from the other in terms of price, features and specifications?

Although Blade V8 features a high-end camera quality, the Pro variant still overrules it. In addition, the Blade V8 Pro edition includes a much enhanced processor and with various storage limit than its standard version. Othe than that, here is a rundown of comparison between the ZTE handsets' specifications.

Display

While ZTE Blade V8 has a 5.2-inch FHD display with a 424PPI pixel density, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro features a 5.5-inch FHD Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected display that pairs off with a 401PPI pixel density. Despite only having a 5.2-inch display for Blade 8, its pixel density is greater than the Pro edition. Moreover, the Blade V8 Pro only has 69.4% compared to its standard version, offering 70.3% of screen-to-body ratio.

Performance

Snapdragon 435 process paired with Adreno 505 graphics is included in ZTE Blade V8. More so, its 2GB RAM model will include a 16GB internal storage, while 32 GB internal storage is on the 3GB RAM model.

As regards to ZTE Blade V8 Pro, it will feature a Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 graphics, a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The internal storage of both handsets even on different variants would still be expandable up to 256GB.

Camera

ZTE Blade V8 features a 13MP camera at the back parallel to a 2MP fixed-focus camera that includes support for LED flash and auto focus. Its front camera will feature a 13MP sensor that has FHD video recording support while its back camera can record FHD videos at 30fps.

Moreover, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro features dual 13MP sensors with a PDAF and dual-LED flash support. Users can also capture 2K videos at 30 fps and the same fps for the FHD videos. The handset offers an 8MP sensor for its front camera.

Battery Operating Platform, and Price

Blade V8 is equipped with a 2,730mAh battery while the Pro model offers a slightly higher rate batter at 3140mAh. Nontheless, the Pro version offers a fast charging support via Quck charge 2.0 which makes its charging a whole lot faster and easier.

Surprisingly, the ZTE Blade V8 runs the latest Google platform Android 7.0 Nougat that embeds the fingerprint sensor into its physical home button. On the contrary, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro runs the older platform, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

According to reports, The ZTE Blade V8 will be available in a few countries by April this year without any official announcement about its price. Moreover, the Blade V8 Pro costs $230.
