Liv's zombie world gets much larger in "iZombie Season 3." A big part of show will center on Fillmore Graves Enterprises and The Scratching Post.
Executive producer Rob Thomas disclosed to Entertainment Weekly that someone would open an underground club to take advantage of Seattle's growing zombie population. He added that the number of zombies in Seattle is alarmingly growing fast, and it is high time someone invests on the zombies' desire to socialize with their own kind. Thomas said that the underground club will be named The Scratching Post.
The synopsis reveals that in "iZombie Season 3," Liv (Rose McIver) will help Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) investigate the killing of a zombie family that could trigger an all-out zombie-human war. In the meantime, Major (Robert Buckley) gets a brand new job after spending much of his time as a zombie hunter in Season 2. The synopsis illustrates that he becomes a member of Fillmore Grave's zombie army where surprisingly he finds the warm reception.
The season preview of "iZombie Season 3" confirms the introduction of Ravi (Rahul Kohli), the former boss who surfaced to investigate the Max Rager's massacre. This is the same boss who fired Ravi from his job at the Center for Disease Control. Based on the synopsis, Blaine (David Anders) will stay clueless of his evil past, stating that his amnesia is more of a blessing than a curse. Blaine's amnesia was a result of taking the second version of antidote and lingers to play a major role the upcoming season. This continues to generate problems for the Ravi and Peyton relationship.
At the beginning of "iZombie" Season 3, Liv and Major eat the brains of a father and teenage daughter who were killed in a vehicular accident, Major then eats the brains of the daughter. Finally, Peyton or Aly Michalka yanks at a thread in one of her cases that may lead her to the scoundrel that is pulling all the strings says, IBTimes.
"iZombie" season 3 premieres on April 4, 2017 on The CW. It will air back-to-back episodes.
