A call interrupted their break summoning them to the Lincoln Memorial. Eric ran off to explore another area while Diana found out a small, glowing, green rift at the statue's sides. She stared at it as it disappeared. It was too late for her when she caught up with Eric as the scary-looking monster with stringy hair had already grabbed and killed him. Diana and Ichabod met at the scene and the death of Eric confused the security agent, wondering who Ichabod is. The monster got away and Crane introduced himself. Diana, still in disbelief, had lost Ichabod who took off while she got distracted by another glowing green hole.
"Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 Episode 1 Premiere: The Archives. Diana finally got herself to calm and tracked Ichabod from where he was held hostage. He saw them there again as they lost the trail of the demon wondering where her captors are. They then concluded that they needed each other and they are not enemies as the two lost people dear to them.
Skilled investigator, Diana gets a call that another one bites the dust - and the demon has something to do with it. At the crime scene, she said that the federal office might be able to give assistance. Diana introduced Ichabod to their agency, "The Vault" and they found a gorgeous library of wild stuff tended by Jake, Captain Brownbeard and skeptic Alex. They are in charge of the machines and artifacts.
The duo then realized that the demon is John Wilkes Booth, who had summoned supernatural creatures to kill Lincoln in 1865. Additionally, the weakness of the monster is copper with American flag as the trigger. To fight the demon, Alex used his materials to manufacture copper bullets.
Diana and Ichabod then eventually lost the monster in the warehouse as Jake and Alex waited outside. The monster grabbed Jake and Jenny arrives just in time and fires at the monster with a sharp eye. Booth turned into a copper-plated monster. Then, Jenny introduced herself: "Jenny Mills, a soldier, scholar, gentlewoman and all pieces of badass."
Jenny then reported to her Himalayas trip as they lamented on the death of Abbie. Crane and Diana met at the Jefferson Memorial; they talked about Diana's daughter and Crane didn't oblige him to come and fight. However, the latter's all in thinking about Eric's death.
The next scene was Diana and Molly - her 10-year-old daughter has never uttered a word after a fainting spell in the school several weeks ago. Diana left the room, Molly stops doing her assignment and grabs her sketchpad. Every page... filled with Ichabod caricatures! Woah! Wondering about the Lincoln head? Still missing - and Malcolm Dreyfuss stole it. A new foe arises - what will happen next?
