"Chucklefish" are working on two new games this year. One game is an online multiplayer game, which is a combination of "Fire Emblem" and "Advance Wars," as described by Chucklefish CEO Finn Brice (@Tiyuri in Twitter) in PCGamesN. The game is somewhat like "Clash Royale" in a way that two sides will battle to the death. However, the uniqueness of this game combines RPG elements and real-time progress, where one kingdom should send out troops that will defend. These two newer projects will be another field that the said game company will be venturing into and to improve flexibility in their range of games rather than just simulation, adventure, and fantasy.

Online multiplayer included in the game

The good thing about this turn-based game from "Chucklefish" is that it also contains an online multiplayer option where other players around the world can compete with each other. "Starbound" is a good game indeed, because it involves many fantasy elements with sci-fi genres just like "Terraria." Just like "Stardew Valley" being the spiritual successor of "Harvest Moon," this upcoming game is the spiritual successor of "Advance Wars."

This tweet was also discussed in PCGamer, where Finn revealed a video of the project. Fans remembering this game will wait for the upcoming one, which will surely bring back memories. Although some say this is a rip-off, it is not. Unfortunately, there is no official title yet.

"Art Style Demonstration" game

The second project from "Chucklefish" revolves around the RPG and simulation genres. It is mainly a combination of "Stardew Valley" with a pure fantasy game. It is somewhat pixelated but it makes up with its smooth frames and lighting. With its 2D presentation, players will delve into another world where they relive their lives in a sim-like world, which includes dating someone, day and night, and a normal life of a student in the class.
