Aside from the recent world wide event of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon", another online event has been announced where players can test their Pokemon team on how strong they are as they battle. The event is another online competition that will let the Pokemon players use their best Pokemon fighting against each other and it is called the "Alola Friendly".

The similarities of the "Alola Friendly" to the "Battle of Alola" are that the battle type is Single Battle where the trainers have to prepare six of their best Pokemons. They must choose which the tree to bring into a specific battle that will depend on the rival team's roster according to MMO Examiner.

Every Pokemon are set to Level 50 to ensure a fair battle between two players. The second thing that is different in the "Alola Friendly" is that only the Pokemon in the Alolan Pokedex can be used which is a restriction that means that the Island Scan for the Pokemon cannot be accessed.

The third difference is that trainers are only allowed to battle 15 times per day in the whole duration of the competition.

In the previous online competition, the Battle of Alola which was released during December where the participating trainers were rewarded with 50 Battle Points at least when they go through three battles according to Digital Times. The Battle Points are useful when a player needs to obtain the best battle items in the Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Some rules players have to keep in mind are that, all Mythical and Legendary Pokemon are prohibited as well as Mega Stones. Items are allowed in the battle field however trainers may not be able to duplicate items to their Battle Team.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players will have to hurry and register because there will only be 50,000 participant allowed to register. The registrations for the battles will be done in the Pokemon Global link which will start form Thurday, January 19 up to January 26, 2017, Thursday. The Alola Friendly will start from Friday, January 27 up until Sunday, January 29.
