Otterbox has announced that it will be selling their modular universe case system versions, which was previously for the iPhone alone to both iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro 9.7-inch. The announcement also includes more than a dozen of new accessory partners for the universe case system.
According to 9TO5Mac, the universe case will feature more aspects to connect accessories and a detachable spine, which keyboards can be easily attached. "The Universe Case System, a CES 2017 Innovation Award honoree, combines trusted OtterBox protection with a modular platform to expand iPhone and iPad features," Otterbox said in a statement.
The universe case system has a modular design, which is easier for your device to put the case on and off, according to Digital Trends. It is also unique from the others as it allows you to add accessories on to the iPad or iPhone without the need to stick to something permanent and this is already available to the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models.
Apart from the universe case system for the iPad, the new modular accessories that Ottobox unveiled this week at CES 2017 includes Tile Slim Bluetooth Tracker that can find keys quickly as well as smartphones and other important things, the olloclip Lens Set for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to capture best photos and videos, the HANSNAP, which is a multi-adjustable hand strap for filming and screen viewing with ease, the Brydge 9.7 Keyboard that maximizes the iPad functionality while providing the productivity of a laptop. Lastly, the FIRST Healthcare Magnetic Positioning Arm that positions tablet in space close to the workstation for hands-free work purposes.
