Sony is taking over this year's Consumer Electronics Show. Aside from the PS4 Pro and the PlayStation VR, the company is generating the buzz with their new XBR-A1E Bravia OLED TV.

According to a Forbes article, the scope of Sony's ambition for the new OLED TVs goes beyond expectations. The company has made a big deal in ensuring the new A1E OLED series to impress TV consumers when it hits the market.

The new OLED TVs come in three sets and they are huge. Sony will release a 77-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch model to prospective TV buyers. It will feature the company's Z1 Extreme 4K HDR processing. The system is responsible for delivering outstanding results on the company's other high-end TVs.

It will also have Sony's trademark Triluminos color technology to deliver accurate colors. The company's 4K X-Reality Pro engine will boost the OLED TV's detail, as well as enhanced upscaling of non-4K channels.

Sony has also found a solution to improve the TVs sound quality. Previous OLED TVs were having problems with sound quality because of how thin they were. Sony seeks to solve the age-old problem by making a sound that emanates from the TV's screen. That's something that you don't see from the average OLED TV.

The company has also decided to include support for the Dolby Vision HDR format. Sony will include the HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma systems alongside the format.

There has not been any announcement regarding the TV's retail price but it will surely not come cheap. There is still no confirmation on when the new A1E OLED series will be available to consumers.

In other news, Sony has unveiled new and improved products at CES 2017. The company's VPL-VZ1000ES2 Ultra-Short Throw laser light projector will definitely take 4K HDR projection to a new level.

Sony has also unveiled the α6500 flagship APS-C sensor mirrorless camera. It is capable of continuous shooting at up to 11 fps and it's equipped with a 5-axis optical image stabilizer. The company's RX100 V premium compact camera is also worth checking out.
