Nintendo will be releasing its new flagship console, the Nintendo Switch, this 2017. With the hype that surrounded the release of the Nintendo Switch also comes the anticipation as to what video games will be made available for the new Nintendo hybrid console. One of the video games that avid Nintendo game console fans are eager to see with Nintendo Switch compatibility is Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Several speculations have already been spread that the popular RPG game will be released for Nintendo Switch. Recent reports suggest that the game will be available for the upcoming Nintendo game console.

However, even before the rumor really spread, Michael Gamble, producer of Bioware, has already put a stop to the alleged 2017 release of Mass Effect: Andromeda for Nintendo Switch. Though the Switch will not be commercially available until March 2017, Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be made available for the Nintendo game console within this year.

Gamble, in an interview with Stevivor, shut down the rumors that Bioware's Mass Effect: Andromeda will be made available for the Nintendo hybrid console, Nintendo Switch. In the interview, Gamble stated that there has been no plans yet to make Andromeda available for Nintendo Switch.

Also, in the same interview, Gamble also dismissed the rumors that Mass: Effect Andromeda will be released for Xbox Scorpio. However, a glimmer of hope can be seen by Nintendo game console fans as Gamble also said that Bioware is not actually closing its doors to the possibility that the popular RPG will be released for Nintendo Switch within the year.

Nintendo fans have been clamoring for the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda for Nintendo Switch as the game's predecessor, Mass Effect 3, was released for Nintendo Wii U. The RPG will be released springtime this year for PC, Sony Ps4 and Xbox One. A new Mass Effect: Andromeda footage is set to be released this January 7 at the Nvidia CES event.
