The Events Tab that "Clash of Clans" recently unleashed has recently revealed that a Dragon event will be coming for fans to enjoy soon. The event is slated to kickoff right after the "Clashmas" promotion for the holidays ends.

At the moment, there are not too many details revealed about the upcoming event yet. On the other hand, a photo posted on Imgur confirms it is sure to commence right after the 2016 holiday's "Clashmas" promotion ends, which is Thursday, January 5. The outlet adds that the upcoming "Clash of Clans" Dragon Event may have a similar theme to that of the Hog Rider Event.

What Happened at the Hog Rider Event?

In December, the Hog Rider Event provided fans with a chance to train for a cheaper amount. The training discount was used by some to complete an Events Challenge that provided gem bonuses and extra XP. The Hog Rider Event's main goal was to win three multiplayer battles using 10 Hogs.

It is expected that the upcoming "Clash of Clans" Dragon Event will have a similar idea; although the difference is that players will be training Dragons. The question that has yet to be answered is if Baby Dragons can also be included in the battles or only the regular Dragons will take part in the matches. The Events Tab only features a regular Dragon at this point but more details may be revealed once the "Clashmas" promotion wraps up.

If the "Clash of Clans" Dragon Event will also be similar to the Hog Rider Event, it is said that the event may last for up to three days. The rest of the event's matches, rewards, and add-ons may be revealed later this week.

What Dragons Can Do

In the "Clash of Clans" universe, Dragons are very crucial in terms of air defense and offense. A Dragon is considered as one of the most powerful characters in the title since it can be of great help both in the air and on land. Dragons can eliminate air defenses and they can also destroy groups of Goblins and Barbarians on the move. With wise timing, a Dragon can be the strongest warrior in the battlefield through the Rage spell.

Fans React on Twitter

Fans have commented on the "Clash of Clans" official Twitter page that they are extremely ecstatic for the event's launch. Most remarked that the Dragon Events and similar events are just what players need to keep them interested in playing the game.
