Gamers looking for the next big thing in PC gaming would do well to keep an eye on Acer Predator 21 x. Acer's latest device is also "the world's first curved screen notebook."
TechCrunch reports that the Acer Predator 21 X features a 21-inch G-Sync curved screen with a 2560 x 1080 resolution and 12o Hz refresh rate. Aside from its impressive aesthetic, the device also comes with out-of-this-world specs.
Acer's impressive gaming laptop boasts dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphic cards in SLI along with an overclockable 7th- generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor. The gaming laptop also has a massive 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory, and up to four total 512 GB solid state drives in RAID 0 configuration.
Acer's latest offering also comes with two faster NVMe PCIe SSDs and a 7200 RPM hard drive with 2 TB capacity. The Acer Predator 21 X's specs easily outrank custom gaming desktops and will definitely satisfy avid technophiles.
The laptop is powered by two power supplies. Acer new gaming laptop comes with five system fans and mitigates heat with eight heat pipes. The device's keyboard has Cherry MX brown switches with individually lit LED lights and is programmable for up to 16.7 million colors.
Its touchpad can be turned over to give users the option to use a Precision Touchpad. Windows Hello comes supported with facial recognition, and the Predator 21 X also comes with eye-tracking technology from Tobii. In the future, the laptop can even run supported games that will let players aim with their eyesight.
Techaeris also published the full press release from Acer, part of which reads, "Making the action come to life, the Predator 21 X features a new three-way (tweeter, midrange, woofer) audio design which produces Hi-Fi quality sound and is powered by four speakers (two tweeters, two midrange) and 2 subwoofers to produce a full spectrum of sound."
Acer Predator 21 X comes with a hefty price tag to account for its impressive features, though. Interested parties can purchase the gaming laptop for $8,999 when it becomes available in February of this year.
