Mangoslab has just unveiled its first product ever since it was spun off from Samsung in June 2016 and the small printer is looking great. Tagged at only $120, users can print on Post-Its in just a matter of seconds.
All About the Nemonic
Nemonic is a thermal printer that allows users to print on those small sticky notes straight from their phones. Tech Crunch points out that Mangoslab's first product eliminates the need to write on the sticky notes, which workers often leave on their colleagues' computer monitors. With just a few taps on mobile phones, the printer will produce the message that needs to be delivered.
During the CES Unveiled event, a representative from Mangoslab said the printer does not need any kind of ink or toner. Instead, consumers will need to purchase the thermal sticky notes that the company offers and they're good to go.
Nemonic's Powerful Features
The Mangoslab Nemonic isn't just a typical mini printer. Users can print just about anything that comes from their phones. Whether these are images, graphs, templates and more; the printer will produce them on thermal sticky notes.
According to Geek Wire, it will take less than a minute to take a selfie, crop the image on a phone, send the file to the Nemonic, and get the physical photo desired. It has yet to be revealed how many sheets of Post-Its can be stacked into the printer; but the thermal sticky pads that Mangoslab offers appear to be thinner than the usual Post-Its that consumers know.
The Mangoslab Nemonic will come with an Android or iOS app that will access the printer's Bluetooth 4.0 system. Consumers can also make use of a computer app to print on the 4x4x3.5-inch printer that's about the size of a tissue box.
When Can Users Get the Nemonic?
CNET adds that the Mangoslab Nemonic is slated to hit stores sometime May or June of this year. It will first be available in the US, Japan, and Europe regions but will also be out for UK and Australian consumers in the near future.
