It looks like the mascot for Hideo Kojima's new studio, Ludens will have a real-world statue as Kojima Productions together with Prime 1 Studio announced a ½ scale statue of the mascot. Ludens is sporting a sort of extra-vehicular activity (EVA) suit and holds a flag with Kojima Productions logo.

According to GameSpot, the real-world statue is amazingly rare as only 150 are being built, which will be signed by Kojima himself. It also stands 63 inches or about five feet tall, which towers most children and as tall as the shorter adults with LED lights on the helmet.

The statue 'has a high-tech feel, giving him a nostalgic ambiance. The surface of his EVA suit has 'Turing pattern'-like elements that slightly rotate, inspired by the Turing machine,' reads the official description. Metal Gear designer Yoji Shinkawa has the honor of designing the statue.

IGN reports that Ludens is the project of Sideshow Collectibles and Kojima Productions and the stats provided for it also includes PVC states, which is also available in the market. The statue is set to come out in the wild sometime between January and March 2018 but you can preorder one through Sideshow website.

For fans with deep pockets, they can pay a whopping $2,000 at once but others can just pay $200 deposit and pay the remaining amount through monthly installment of $225. There is also a limit of one per person; visit the Sideshow website for more details.

With a closer look to the five feet tall statue, its EVA suit looks as if genuine metal was used with a fine and world-class paint job that has sheer intricacy. The helmet that it's wearing also looks awesome when checked up close.

On the other hand, Kojima with his team are currently getting their hands on the interesting and mysterious PlayStation 4 game "Death Stranding." There is no specific release date announced just yet but Kojima has previously teased that it might arrive in 2018.
