"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 is making a comeback in January 2017. The popular series will now air on Tuesdays, after "The Flash". "Legends of Tomorrow" is one of the popular CW's superhero series with a large budget at its disposal. The first season only featured 16 episodes, relatively lesser than other comparable shows. "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 was first pegged to get only 13 episodes, but owing to the great performance of the show, CW gave it extra 4 episodes making the total number 17.
The "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 will begin on January 24, airing back to back with "The Flash" at 9 PM ET. The episode has been titled "Raiders of the Lost Art". The "Legends of Tomorrow" team will be meeting George Lucas, played by Matt Angel. Lucas is the creator of extremely popular series "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones".
"Because of circumstances, the time aberration in episode 209 is George Lucas quits film school," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly. "As a result, he never makes Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark. As a result, Ray, who became an engineer because of Star Wars, and Nate, who became a historian because of Raiders, slowly start to lose their brilliance, because those things that inspired them to become who they are didn't exist."
There is a lot at stake here because if Lucas did quit film school and changed careers, the franchise of "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" would be completely lost and that would a big loss for the world and the massive fan base. "Legends of Tomorrow" works on aspects of time travel and events of world history. Are the readers fearing up for all the great promises of the return of the show?
