Good news! One of the most loved and best known Nintendo 64's game, the "Mario Kart 64" will be arriving in North America today, Dec. 29 on Wii U Virtual Consoles. The "Mario Kart 64" is priced at $99.9, and has previously been released in Europe and Australia.

To players who already own the game on their Wii Virtual Console, and additional $2 dollars is needed to upgrade. The VC version of the game will be compatible for the standard Wii U Gamepad, the Pro Controller and the Wii Remote which can be paired with the Classic Controller.

However, the "Mario Kart 64" Wii U Virtual Console version will not support any ghost data or the N64 controller packs which is used as the console's memory card according to Destructoid. The game has Battle mode which is a lot to fun especially when played with other players.

The Wii U version can support up to four players on a split screen and features one of the best "Mario Kart" courses available in the game including the Moo Moo farm, Toad's Trunpike and the Yoshi Valley. The game also features off-TV plays just in case players want to play by themselves, keeping the TV free for regular use.

The original "Mario Kart" tittle was released in Japan in 1996 and it was then released in North America and Europe in 1997 according to My Nintendo News. Mario Kart also won a Guinness World Record for "Best Selling Racing Game", "First Console Kart", and "The Longest Running Kart Racing Game."

Nintendo will also be releasing some of their games for the New Nintendo 3DS according to WWG. It will reportedly include "Castlevania Dracula X," which is one of the rarest Super NES games. The adventure game is also a spin-off to the original "TurboGrafx Dracula X," which is expected to be sold at a much cheaper price than the original SNES cartridge, which is $7.99.
