Christmas did come with a number of surprises and "Gravity Rush: Overture" Anime is one of them. The series features Kat, the main protagonist of the game series, and gives viewers a story connecting the parts of the "Gravity Rush" 2012 game to that of upcoming "Gravity Rush 2."
"Gravity Rush: Overture" completely free to watch online
The "Gravity Rush" game-based animation series consists of two parts that are now available to watch online on YouTube. Find these videos embedded below which are both 17 minutes long in total.
According to reports, "Gravity Rush: Overture" anime episodes provide a filler between the two games brought by Project Siren (SCE Japan Studio). Studio Khara was responsible for producing the animated episodes. Studio Khara also produced the "Evangelion" series and had a share of contribution in "Persona 4" and "Halo: Legends" anime as well. This shows us that the production team knew what it was doing when it comes to connecting plots between various games of a series.
Delay in "Gravity Rush 2" Release
Project Siren's "Gravity Rush 2" game was scheduled for a launch in December 2016, but Sony later made an announcement for the game's delay to January 2017. Fans were expecting the game to come out, but the delay was a big disappointment. To compensate for this issue, Sony is planning to offer a free DLC pack that will offer additional story plot in the game world.
The first "Gravity Rush" game launched for PS Vita in 2012. But, due to low sales of the device, the game was ported to PS4 in the starting months of 2016. This ported game was called as "Gravity Rush: Remastered." The game was one of top five posted reissued games in 2016 as per Gamespot. "Gravity Rush 2" is coming up January 20, 2017, exclusively in the USA and the UK. While it will launch on January 18 in Europe and Australia.
