The popular game franchise of "Tekken" can be considered as a cult classic. It's latest game offering is geared to go to a higher level as it is reportedly scheduled to have PC, Xbox and PlayStation 4 versions by 2017.
It can be remembered that "Tekken 7" was released in Japan in 2015 but was only available in via arcade version. Because of the limited version format, players have been clamoring for wider game platforms for the seventh game installment.
One of the reasons why Bandai Namco's game franchise has remained popular amid the new game releases is because of the classic game concept that does not necessarily focus on high-end weapons and explosions. Perhaps it's the rawness of manual fighting skills that keep players, both young and old, still hooked to the charisma of the game.
Steam will reportedly be the official releasing body of the seventh game installment in 2017. Game director Katsuhiro Harada himself announced basic details of Bandai Namco's upcoming game during the Microsoft E3 2016 press con.
According to reports, it will feature new story modes that seamlessly combines action-packed gameplay with authentic, narrative cinematics. A fresh wave of game-play changes are expected to be implemented in the upcoming Bandai Namco game.
There have been reports that "Tekken 7" will be released soon after the scheduled shutdown of its counterpart, "Tekken Revolution." The said shutdown has already been implemented in Europe and is expected to go full circle early next year. This is quite a bummer for players who have been enjoying the free-to-play version of the skilled fighting video game.
Bandai Namco has yet to give an official release date for the PS4, Xbox and PC version. Meanwhile, check out the "Tekken 7" arcade version official gameplay video. Stay tuned to Mobile & Apps for more gaming news and updates!
