Amidst the growing scandal concerning the player's rights in the CS: GO eSports organization, another controversy has befell the already tormented CS: GO eSports league. The CS eSports organization has received tremendous backlash after the recent release of the groupings for the CS: GO finals.
The event is set to begin on the 12th of January, 2017 and will conclude on the 17th. The annual event has been one of the most sought after eSports events and despite the negative news that the CS: GO eSports organization has been surrounded lately, fans are still eager to watch the best CS: GO teams clash is out to determine who will claim the top spot.
The groupings for the CS: GO eSports finals has received ruckus reaction after some of the best teams were put under the same grouping while the relatively weaker teams are placed under another group. Usually, the groupings are made by combining the weaker teams with the better teams to create a balance in the group. However, in the CS: GO 2017 world finals grouping, the perceived better teams will battle it out early in the group stage.
In the early CS: GO finals group stage, three of the perceived top teams will already have to face each other to determine who will come out from the group stage to the next stage of the event. These three teams are Virtus.pro, Team Russia and EnVYus.
Some of the weaker teams are also conspicuously placed in another grouping for the group stage. The Chinese team, TyLoo was placed in what is said to be a weak group which include Team Kinguin. With this weak group stage composition, GODSENT is already predicted to come out the group stage with ease.
The controversial CS: GO worlds seeding has also generated much criticism from CS: GO players including from Team Russia's captain, Dmitry 'hooch' Bogdano.
