Looks like Final Fantasy XV players who are willing to give eyeteeth for Aranea will soon have something to cheer about. Thanks to a recently exposed glitch, players can make her a fixed member of the party. This also encompasses Gladio after he reunites with the party from a specific part in the game.

How To Obtain Aranea In Final Fantasy XV

First off, you must reach the part of the game where Gladio abandons the party. The first two story events will pave Aranea's way into the team as you collaborate with her to clear a dungeon, if what players at Reddit have discovered is anything to go by. Aranea will leave the party as soon as the said dungeon is cleared. This is exactly when you have an opportunity to recruit her again; however, this will not be done via a conventional way.

Ideally, the best time for this is when Gladio returns to the party. You need to visit Cotisse area, which is located in the north of Hammerhead as shown in a video footage posted by YouTuber called Whimsic al. You are likely to encounter Iron Giants while you explore Cotisse. But fret not; this is a critical step in spawning the fan-favorite antagonist and guest party member, Aranea, in Final Fantasy XV.

Usually, the Iron Giants make an appearance in open areas at night. As soon as you bump into these monsters, initiate a battle using aggro. After that, return to Cotisse with the help of fast travel without having to fight. This is when Aranea will also be heading back to camp. Now, all you need to do is open the camp menu before she lands down.

After returning back to the camp, she will be landing down; however, do not expect to see her in the party yet. The final step in obtaining Aranea in Final Fantasy XV involves reloading the auto-save in the camp menu. Once done, she will not leave the party until there is a party reset in the story.

It is worth noting that you will not be able to perform tasks such as fishing and do Tour quests while Aranea is nearby. In other words, it's apt to let her hang around with you in the post game instead. You must also bear in mind that Aranea can only be removed by going back to the post-game secret dungeon.
