Avid fans of popular jailbreakers, Luca Todesco and Pangu, are very excited about their hacking tool for iOS 10, which both hackers announced to be released soon.
For those who are not familiar with the term, jailbreaking is a hack for liberating and bypassing restrictions on iOS devices. Meaning, if a device is jailbroken, users can now do whatever they want to their devices, which are not possible before, such as installing apps and tweaks that are not approved by Apple.
Gamenguide reported that Luca Todesco posted on his Twitter account, stating that his hacking tool will soon be released and users who are planning to use the upcoming jailbreak will need to stay on iOS 10.1.1 in order for it to work. It was reported earlier that Todesco will be using an exploit called Google Project Zero, which works on earlier versions of iOS 10.1.1. Pangu, on the other hand, was only able to hack the earlier beta version of iOS 10.
It is worth notinh that Apple is also working extremely hard to tighten the security of their devices, making it difficult for hackers now to penetrate the system for a working iOS 10 jailbreak. As reported by redmondpie, Apple went through severe beta release cycles before releasing the compatible firmware now being used on their devices.
Jailbreak users are aware that the latest working hack is for iOS 9.3.3, which opted Apple to release security patches iOS 9.3.4 and iOS 9.3.5.
Apple, Luca Todesco, and Pangu are like in a race working around the clock to get one step ahead of each other. For users of the Luca and Pangu's hacking tools, they may have to wait and see who wins in this firmware race and hope that they cross the finish line very soon.
