The much awaited Square Enix franchise installment "Final Fantasy XV" is finally available on the PlayStation 4 console. Just like its predecessors, the latest entry in the long-running franchise also has a few bugs and glitches that fans can use to their own advantage.

One, in particular, is the glitch that fans can use to let Aranea Highwind, also known as The Dragoon, join the party as a permanent member despite her being only a guest character. This one seems to be working, according to the players' report posted on the Reddit thread for "Final Fantasy XV."

How to get Aranea join Notcis' party in "Final Fantasy XV"?

The player must do the following if they want Aranea to join as a permanent party member in "Final Fantasy XV," as what detailed on the Reddit thread:

The first thing that the player must do is rest at the Cotisse Haven. Then take up the Raindrops Hunt that will fast forward the game to night time. After doing so, the player then has to teleport to the previous rest area and wait for the timer to hit exactly midnight before proceeding to the next step.

When it the timer is right, the player now must run towards the big wall with a red fence, which will trigger a monster spawn. The next thing to do here is waiting for the battle against the Daemon to be engaged then escape.

The next step that the player should do after escaping the battle is to immediately teleport to the previous rest area (Cotisse Haven), and interact with the camp without pressing the camp option. This will trigger a brief cutscene with Aranea jumping down from her ship.

Baconpancakemaker, the Reddit user who started the thread, advised everyone to press camp as soon as Aranea starts to speak - something about the Daemons are gone. After camping, it is now time to reload the camping autosave.

The downsides of having Aranea in Noctis' party

Since this is a glitch, fans should definitely expect to see some missing features in "Final Fantasy XV." One of the mentioned missing features is Noctis' option to fish with Aranea. Another thing that players must keep in mind is that Aranea will never join the party member when they are riding a Chocobo or while inside the car.

According to the report from GameRant, she will just follow the party and run behind them at full speed.
