Google lifts up your keyboard to a new level as it upgraded Google keyboard to Gboard Software available now for Android phones and tablets, just last Friday. This gets user to feel a more indulging experience of texting and typing.
The app is not just available for Apple products, which was first launched in May, but is also useful now to Android users. According to CNet, some of its features include Google standard keyboard with text predictions and autocorrect, swipe typing that lets fingers slide to letters instead of tapping them, and voice prediction as well.
Gboard product manager Reena Lee proudly said that Gboard highlights its search box that have its users connect to biggest online services like Google Messenger and Google Hangouts. Some suggested search result sent from the Gboard keyboard would pop out which is practical for restaurant hopping, weather forecasts and searching for business's or landmark's address.
The app's Multilanguage feature is also an outstanding mark. According to the recent post of Cnet, Gboard can also recommend words as per suggested language that would prevent confusions of word variations like English's "the" and "thé" in French. Bilingual users would find this feature convenient and amusing.
Lee stressed the app's artificial intelligence technology is advantageous to Android users for voice predictions.
Gboard also include GIF and emoji search that makes it easier to choose the right emotional clipart. Searching for the emoji you want instead of scrolling down numerous options would be a great help to the emoji lovers.
Meanwhile, according to Tech crunch, one top complain of the newly arrived app is its hidden number rows. Users find it unpractical since the number rows are merged with the first letter row.
Google Gboard App is available at the Google Play Store starting on Friday, December 16.
