The team behind popular titles "Max Payne," "Alan Wake," and "Quantum Break" is working on another project.

A recent report from Gamespot indicates that Remedy Entertainment is currently working on something else that may be a bit of a farewell from their usual single player action shooter. In fact, Head of Communications Thomas Puha made a tweet about not providing a formal announcement for this game until further notice.

There would be, however, an update soon enough as he have suggested that the update will be coming out before the year ends and it's almost half of December now.

Remedy Entertainment has been making a number of teases for their projects now. In fact, last August this year, the developer that they'll also be working with a Korean developer known as Smilegate on a game called "CrossFire 2."

Yes, this is the same "CrossFire" that fans all know as an MMO first person shooting game that has been around for some time now. Now, Remedy working with them will surely make the sequel a treat as we've known titles like "Alan Wake" and "Max Payne" to be icons on their genre.

However, the game is said to be still under conceptual stages that it's a bit far from getting a release any time soon, but fans are looking forward to more of Remedy Entertainment as the team itself confirmed that they are making multiplayer games since September.

"We want to challenge ourselves to find ways to also expand these elements to include cooperative multiplayer," the studio said about its new efforts. "We will always strive to be the best storytellers we possibly can, and we want these stories to be shared and elevated through players' cooperation. We believe that a multiplayer experience combined with Remedy's unique world-building provides an exceptional environment for that." - Remedy stated in an interview.
