The hope for an iOS 10 jailbreak tool could be dead now or would be in a few more weeks to come. Did Pangu abandon the ship for the tool's development for good?
With the recent release of iOS 10.2 beta, hacker team Pangu is still as tight lipped as it was when the iOS 10 initially came out and rendered the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool useless. That same jailbreak tool took way too many months to release only to be shortlived as fans of the hacking team deemed it.
Based from a report from 9to5 Mac, the seventh beta version of iOS 10 will be coming out and the likelihood of hackers like Pangu, releasing any working tool, will be challenged even further as the update tightens the security even more making it almost impossible to crack.
There have been several reports about Pangu releasing the iOS 10 jailbreak tool once the iOS 10.2 update has been rolled out. This could be partially true due to the fact that the one we currently have now is just for the developers and is still under the beta period. This isn't to say that Pangu actually failed to pull off the promise, but with no words or updates to get by, things are starting to become less interesting.
For those who are still hopeful about any update regarding the jailbreak tool however, are better off holding to their iOS 10.1.1 versions as things could easily get more complicated once 10.2 is installed. This has been the same advice that some hackers like Luca Todesco have mentioned.
As of the moment, it could be a hard decision to stay with the current iOS 10.1.1 as there's a looming security issue regarding some openings for the operating system, which the iOS 10.2 is aiming to rectify. Users who knows what they are doing and definitely wants a jailbreak tool can prompt to stay, while those who prefer security over anything else are advised to update as soon as possible.
