According to CarterMatt, episode 8 will feature an epic battle between Eli and Ghost Rider with SHIELD team. Eli may succeed with his dark plans as he can easily make matters in a slight movement of his hand.
As per Chloe Bennet via ET interview, ""We're dealing with the Darkhold, which is something that is not really rooted in a science that people can explain... Fitz and Simmons can't really explain certain things, because part of the Darkhold is unexplainable, and it's got an air of magic to it."
While Eli is certainly unstoppable, the Agents team will likely to find something to defeat him. As seen in the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Episode 8 promo, Coulson figures out that the only way to capture the darkhold. That is by sending their strongest team members- Robbie, Yo-yo and Daisy. The Inhuman women abilities will certainly be useful in defeating the baddie, while Robbie's Spirit of Vengeance hopes to abide.
